Link your choir to a choir association

What is this?

Under Choir Association you assign your choir to an umbrella association, for example a regional choir association. There are two kinds of associations:

• Managed associations work with Theatilo themselves. The association has to confirm the membership. After that it sees your choir's totals, which replaces the annual membership report.
• Other associations you simply select and save. If an association is marked with *, there is no automatic connection for it yet.

How to link your choir

1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
2. Select General and scroll to the Choir Association section.
3. Choose your association under Select Choir Association.
4. Other association: click Save changes. Done.
5. Managed association: enter the Choir contact email and click Submit request. Read the notes on data sharing, tick the box and confirm with Consent and send request.
6. Until the association decides, it shows “Membership request pending at …”. With Withdraw request you take it back.

After confirmation, the association appears under Current membership. The association shows the choir contact email in its area and sends announcements for the choir there.

Costs

If your choir is a member of a managed association, it uses Theatilo permanently free of charge, even after the trial: all features except cash book and board area, with 50 MB of storage. For the cash book, board area and more storage you need a subscription.

Permission

You need the permission Edit settings. With your consent you confirm that you may make this decision for the choir.

Tips

• Keep the member list up to date. The association's totals come from it.
• Use an address as contact email that is read permanently, such as the board's.
