Change plan (monthly ↔ yearly)

Switch from the monthly to the annual subscription, book the bank account connection or a sub-ensemble. You switch to the annual plan yourself.

What is this?

On the subscription page you adjust your choir's Theatilo subscription:

  • Switch from the monthly to the annual subscription
  • Bank Account Connection: book or cancel
  • Link as Sub-Ensemble
  • Cancel subscription

Via Open Billing Portal (Stripe) you change the payment method. You find your subscription's invoices on the subscription page under Invoices from Theatilo and under Profile > My invoices. You change the name and address on the invoices under Choir settings > General.

How to switch to the annual subscription

  1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
  2. Select Subscription and click Switch to yearly plan.
  3. Confirm in the dialog.
  4. The switch applies immediately: the paid rest of the month is credited, and the annual fee is invoiced right away. A booked bank account connection also switches to annual billing.

A subscription that was cancelled before keeps running after the switch.

Sub-ensemble

If your club has several choirs, for example a youth choir, a choir can run as a sub-ensemble of a main choir. This costs 33 € per year and requires an active annual subscription of the main choir.

  1. Open the subscription page of the choir that should become a sub-ensemble.
  2. Click Link as Sub-Ensemble.
  3. Choose the main choir and confirm.
  4. Then take out the Sub-Ensemble Subscription.

The main choir's bank account connection also applies to its sub-ensembles.

Cancellation

When you cancel, Theatilo asks for the reason and shows an offer, such as switching to the annual subscription. You finish with Cancel anyway and Cancel now. The cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. Sub-ensembles don't cancel on their own.

Permission

Only administrators of the choir can change the plan, link and cancel. For linking, you must also be administrator in the main choir.

Tips

  • The annual subscription saves 20 € a year and enables sub-ensembles.
  • Before cancelling, save reports and cash book documents that you need outside Theatilo.
