Export birthdays

Download your choir's birthday list for a year as Excel, CSV or PDF, with age, milestone birthdays and contact details for sending congratulations.

What is this?

The Birthday List contains all members with a birthday entered, sorted by day and month. Handy for greeting cards, phone calls or the club newsletter.

How to export

  1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
  2. Select Reports and then Birthday List.
  3. Choose the Member Status: Active Members, Passive Members or All Members.
  4. Choose the Year.
  5. Choose the Format: Excel, CSV or PDF.
  6. Click Download.

What the list contains

  • First name and last name
  • Birthday
  • Age in the selected year
  • Anniversary (“Yes” for milestone birthdays in steps of five)
  • Email, phone, mobile phone
  • Street, postal code, city

Members without a birthday entered are not in the list.

Data protection

The list contains addresses and phone numbers. Only pass it on to the people who need it for congratulations, and don't share it publicly.

Permission

You need the permission Export reports.

Tips

  • Use the CSV file for mail merges, for example for greeting cards.
  • Keep birthdays up to date in the member profile, otherwise members are missing from the list.

Frequently asked questions

Which formats can I export?▾
Excel (preselected), CSV or PDF. All formats contain the same columns.
Which year does the list cover?▾
You pick a year: next year, the current year or one of the four years before. The age is the age the person reaches in that year.
Are milestone birthdays marked?▾
Yes. The **Anniversary** column shows “Yes” for birthdays in steps of five (5, 10, 15 … 100 years). In the PDF these rows are highlighted.
