Permission required: Members – View member list

What is this?

The member list shows your choir's members in a table. You reach it via Ensembles in the sidebar: click the choir, then Members.

For each member you see:

  • Name and profile picture
  • Voice part
  • Ensemble function (e.g. Music Librarian)

Anyone allowed to Create & edit members also sees:

  • the permission group
  • a status, such as “Needs approval”, “Often absent”, “Left on …” or missing events
  • at the top the switch Active · Passive · Approval, with the number of active and passive members in the subtitle

How to use the list

  1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Members.
  2. Search for names in the search field. If you may see sensitive data, you also find members by email address.
  3. Filter via Voice and (with management permission) Permission group. More filters offers ensemble function, birthday month, entry period and custom fields.
  4. Sort via the sort menu: last name A–Z or Z–A, first name A–Z or Z–A, by voice part.
  5. Click a member to open them in the side panel. This works if you may see sensitive data or edit the member.

Long lists are split into pages; below them you choose 25, 50 or 100 entries per page.

With management permission

  • Add Member and Invitation link are at the top right.
  • The ··· menu at the top contains Import Members, Custom fields and (as administrator) Manage permission groups.
  • If you select several members, you can Set passive, Change permission group or Add missing events for all of them together.

In the app

Under Avatar > My Ensembles tap your choir. There you find the list of active members with role, voice part and function, provided you may see the member list.

Permission

You see the list with the permission View member list. In new choirs Administrator and Moderator have it, the Member group doesn't. The choir leadership can also give it to members in the permission groups.

Tips

  • Set members passive instead of removing them when the membership is only paused. The data is kept.
  • Keep voice parts and functions up to date, so the filters work reliably.
