Approve new members who joined via the invitation link. That way you decide who gets access to your choir before they can see anything.

What is this?
If approval is switched on for the invitation link, new sign-ups don't land in the choir right away but under Approval. You decide whom you accept. This prevents strangers from joining via a link that was passed on.
When sign-ups are waiting, the member list shows a notice at the top with the number and the Show button.
How to approve members
- Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Members.
- Switch to Approval at the top. The number next to it shows the open sign-ups.
- Click a person to see their details. You can adjust voice part and permission group there beforehand.
- Choose Approve in the ··· menu.
- Several sign-ups at once: select them in the list and click Approve.
What happens after approval
- The person has access to the choir right away and appears under Active.
- They keep the permission group set when joining or by you. People who joined via the link go into the Member group.

Tips
- Switch on approval when you share the link publicly, for example on your website.
- Respond promptly. Until approval the person sees nothing of the choir.
Frequently asked questions
When do I have to approve new members?▾
Only if **New members need approval** is switched on for the invitation link. Then anyone joining via the link only gets access once someone from the leadership approves them. By default approval is off.
Is there a deadline?▾
No. New sign-ups wait under **Approval** until you approve or remove them. Until then the person has no access to the choir.
Can I reject a sign-up?▾
Yes. Remove the person via **···** > **Remove from choir**. For this you need the permission **Delete members**. The person's Theatilo account remains.
