Permission required: Administrators only

What is this?

With Cancel bank account connection you end the add-on for the bank connection. The cash book stays fully usable: creating entries, receipts, invoices and donation receipts. Only the automatic fetching of transactions stops.

How to cancel

  1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
  2. Select Subscription.
  3. In the Bank Account Connection section, click Cancel bank account connection.
  4. Confirm the cancellation at the end of the current period.

What happens after cancelling

  • Until the end of the period the connection keeps running.
  • On the end date Theatilo removes the add-on from your subscription and disconnects all of the choir's bank connections.
  • Transactions already fetched stay in the cash book.
  • After that you record bank transactions by hand or via Import entries in the cash book settings.

Permission

Only administrators of the choir can cancel. Sub-ensembles have no cancel button; the add-on belongs to the main choir.

Tips

  • Confirm open suggestions first in Bank reconciliation, so nothing is missing.
  • Discuss it on the board before you cancel. Reconnecting means logging in with the bank again.

Frequently asked questions

What happens to the transactions fetched so far?▾
They stay in the cash book. After the end, simply no new transactions are fetched.
When does the cancellation take effect?▾
At the end of your subscription's current billing period. Until then the connection keeps running; the subscription page shows “Will be canceled on …”. After that Theatilo disconnects your bank accounts.
Can I book the add-on again later?▾
Yes, with **Activate bank account connection** on the subscription page. You then connect the bank accounts again in the cash book.
