Generate & share an invitation link

What is this?

With the Invitation link, new members join your choir by themselves without you typing in their details. The link leads to a join page where the person enters their details.

Each choir has exactly one invitation link.

How to share the link

1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Members.
2. Click Invitation link at the top right.
3. If there is no link yet, click Create link.
4. Decide whether New members need approval.
5. Click Copy link and share the link.

With Create new link you replace the link. The previous link then stops working.

What happens when someone joins

1. The person opens the link and enters first name, last name and email address. They can also fill in voice part, contact details, bank details and the choir's custom fields.
2. If they don't have a Theatilo account yet, Theatilo creates one and sends the login details by email. An existing account is used.
3. The choir's administrators get an email about the new member.
4. If approval is switched on, the person appears under Approval and only gets access once approved. Otherwise they are a member right away.

In the app

Under Avatar > My Ensembles tap your choir and then the Invitation Link icon. There you copy the link.

Permission

You need the permission Create & edit members to see and create the link and to set up approval.

Tips

• Switch on approval when you share the link publicly.
• Create a new link if the old one has got into the wrong hands.
