What is this?

With the member list filters you find a specific group, such as the board, everyone with a birthday in a given month or all members without a voice part.

Available filters

At the top in the filter bar:

  • Voice: each voice part with its count, plus “No voice part”
  • Permission group: only with management permission and when there is more than one group

Under More filters (side panel):

  • Ensemble Function
  • Birthday month: one or more months
  • Joined from and Joined until
  • Custom fields, if you may see sensitive data

How to filter

  1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Members.
  2. Click Voice or Permission group and tick the values you want.
  3. For more filters click More filters, choose the values and click Show … members.
  4. Active filters appear as chips below the filter bar. You remove a single filter via its chip, all of them with Reset filters.

The filters apply to the selected area Active, Passive or Approval.

Permission

Anyone who sees the member list (View member list) can use the filters. The Permission group filter also needs Create & edit members, filters on custom fields need View sensitive data (address, phone, email, IBAN).

Tips

  • Combine filters with the search, for example voice part “Soprano” and search “Miller”.
  • Bulk actions such as Set passive or Change permission group only affect the members you select.

Frequently asked questions

Can I apply several filters at once?▾
Yes. Different filters work together: if you choose the voice part “Soprano” and the ensemble function “Treasurer”, you only see members to whom both apply. Within one filter, one selected value is enough.
Can I filter by ensemble function?▾
Yes. Under **More filters** there is **Ensemble Function** with all functions that at least one member in the current view holds, with the count.
Can I filter by custom fields?▾
Yes, if you may see sensitive data. Under **More filters** each custom field gets a matching filter: Select as multiple choice, Yes/No as any/yes/no, Text as search, Number as a from–to range, Date as a period.
Do the filters stay when I reload?▾
Search, voice part, permission group, ensemble function, birthday month and entry period are stored in the page address and stay when you reload. Filters on custom fields are lost on reload. **Reset filters** clears all filters at once.
