Activate the banking add-on

What is this?

The Bank Account Connection is an add-on for the cash book. It connects your cash book accounts to real bank accounts and takes over transactions automatically. New transactions land as suggestions in the cash book under Bank reconciliation; you confirm or discard them there.

Requirements:

• an active monthly or annual subscription (cannot be booked during the trial or with payment by invoice)
• a German bank account

The connection applies to the main choir and all its sub-ensembles together. You book and pay for it only once.

How to activate the add-on

1. Click Ensembles in the sidebar, pick your choir and then Choir settings.
2. Select Subscription.
3. In the Bank Account Connection section, click Activate bank account connection.
4. The connection is billed with your subscription and is active immediately.

If you are just taking out the subscription, simply tick Include bank account connection now in the dialog.

Connect a bank account

1. Under Ensembles open your choir and then Cash book.
2. Select the Accounts tab. Open the ··· menu on the bank account and choose Connect bank.
3. Choose the start date under Import transactions from and click Connect with bank.
4. Log in with your bank and confirm access.
5. Choose the bank account (IBAN) that belongs to this cash book account.

Theatilo then fetches the transactions every night.

Permission

Only administrators of the choir can book and cancel it.

Tips

• Plan the bank login together with the person who has access to the club account.
• Create categories and accounts in the cash book first. Then the suggestions fit better.
