This feature is only available on the web.

Permission required: Events – Create & edit events

What is this?

On an event's Files tab you find all documents, images, audio or video files for the event. Members have everything in one place, such as directions, the stage layout or the program booklet.

How to add files

  1. Open the event and switch to the Files tab.
  2. Upload a file: Drag the file into the field or click it and select the file.
  3. Or link from the file storage: Click Link file and choose files from the choir's file storage. For shared events, the file storage of all choirs involved is available.

Via a file's ··· menu you download it, delete an uploaded file or remove the link to a linked file. The file in the file storage is kept.

Typical files

  • Directions for away performances
  • Stage layout
  • Program booklet as a PDF
  • Schedule with warm-up and sound check

Permission

You need Create & edit events to upload, link or remove files. Everyone who is allowed to see the event can view and download the files, including linked files from folders they otherwise would not have access to.

Tips

  • Link files that still change, such as the schedule. Then the event always shows the current version.
  • Pay attention to what you link: everyone who sees the event can open the file.

Frequently asked questions

Which file formats can I upload?▾
All file types. A file can be at most 50 MB.
Are members notified when I attach a file?▾
No. The files appear on the event's “Files” tab, there is no separate notification. If you want to point out a new file, write a comment.
What is the difference between uploading and linking?▾
An uploaded file belongs only to the event. A linked file is stored in the choir's file storage, and the event only points to it. If someone replaces the file there, you always see the current version at the event. If it is deleted in the file storage, it shows as “no longer available” at the event.
