Event custom fields

Create your own fields for your choir's events, such as dress code, meeting point or contact person, and fill them in per event. Everyone sees the values.

What is this?

Custom fields add your own information to your events that the standard form doesn't have, for example:

  • Dress code: black and white, choir outfit
  • Meeting point: where everyone gathers before the performance
  • Contact person on site
  • Warm-up at: when you need to be there
  • Catering organized: yes or no

You create a field once, and from then on it is available for all events of your choir.

Creating a field

  1. Open an event on the web and click Edit, or create a new event.
  2. Scroll to “Custom Fields” and click Add Field.
  3. Enter a field name and choose the Field Type: Text, Number, Date, Yes/No or Selection. For Selection you define the options.
  4. Click “Add”.

Via the ··· menu next to a field you edit or delete it. If you delete a field, it disappears with all its values from all events of the choir.

Filling in values

  1. Open the event and click Edit. In the app, tap the pencil at the top.
  2. Enter the values under “Custom Fields”.
  3. Save the event.

Filled-in values appear on the event's Details tab. For series, the fields can only be filled in per event after the series has been created.

Permission

You need Create & edit events to create fields and enter values. Everyone who is allowed to see the event can see the values.

Tip

Keep the number of fields manageable. A few well-maintained fields are worth more than many empty ones.
