Send reminders to attendees
Remind everyone without a response or everyone who accepted about an event, manually or automatically at set times. By email and push notification.
What is this?
With reminders you point members to an event once more. They arrive by email and push notification, depending on the recipients' settings.
How to send a reminder manually
- Open the event and switch to the Attendees tab.
- Click “Remind pending”. In the app, tap Remind.
- Choose who gets it:
- Remind Pending: Everyone who has not responded yet gets an invitation with links to accept or decline.
- Remind Attendees: Everyone who accepted or answered Maybe gets a reminder.
- Click “Send Reminder”.
Automatic reminders
Per event: In the event form, under Remind Pending Participants, use Add reminder to add one or more times, from “4 weeks before” to “30 minutes before” or with a custom date. These reminders only go to everyone who has not responded yet. If you reschedule the event, they are rescheduled too.
For the whole choir: Under Ensembles > Choir > Choir settings > General you turn Automatic event reminders on or off. Then everyone who answered Attending or Maybe automatically gets a reminder before the event.
Permission
You need Create & edit events to send or schedule reminders. By default administrators and moderators have it.
Tip
Don't overdo it. Use reminders selectively for important events, such as a dress rehearsal.
