Manage venues

What is this?

Under Venues you maintain your choir's venues with their seating plan, for example the city hall or the church where you regularly give concerts. You need a venue for seating tickets: buyers see the seating plan in the ticket shop and choose their seat.

For each venue you store:

• Venue Name
• Description (optional)
• Price categories with name and color
• Seating plan with seat rows, areas, stage, tables and obstacles

How to use the overview

1. Open Ensembles in the sidebar and choose your choir.
2. Open Choir settings > Venues.
3. You see all venues with description, number of seats and date of the last change. From four venues on, there is a search.
4. Create new venues via Add venue.
5. Edit, duplicate or delete venues via the ··· menu for each venue. You open the seating plan directly via Edit seating plan.

Permission

Viewing: View venues. Creating, editing, duplicating and deleting: Create & edit venues. By default administrators and moderators have both permissions. Venues are only available on the web.

Tips

• Create venues where you perform often. Then you only have to build the seating plan once.
• If you don't need seat selection, choose simple tickets for the ticket sale. No venue is needed for them.
