iCal subscription (events in your own calendar)
Subscribe to your Theatilo events in your own calendar, such as Google, Apple or Outlook. One personal link for all your choirs, kept up to date.
What is this?
With the calendar subscription, your Theatilo events appear automatically in your own calendar, on your phone, on your computer and wherever your calendar runs. New and changed events are added at the next sync of your calendar app.
How to subscribe to the calendar
On the web:
- Open Events and click Subscribe to Calendar at the top right.
- Click Copy address and paste it into your calendar app as a subscribed calendar.
- Or click Open in calendar app, and your calendar app opens directly.
In the app:
Open Events and tap Calendar subscription. On the iPhone, the Calendar app opens directly for subscribing. On Android, the app shows the link to copy and instructions for Google Calendar.
Google Calendar
Open calendar.google.com, click “+” next to “Other calendars”, choose “From URL” and paste the address. You also find these instructions in the dialog under Instructions for Google.
What is in the calendar
- Title of the event, followed by the choir in brackets
- Date and time, as a whole day for all-day events
- Location
- Description
- Prefix in the title: “[Vielleicht]” if you answered Maybe, “[Keine Rückmeldung]” if your response is missing, and “[Gast]” for events you are invited to as a guest
All upcoming events and those of the last 90 days are included, except the ones you declined.
Permission
Everyone can subscribe to their own calendar. The link is personal and only shows events you are allowed to see.
Tips
- Keep the link private: it works like a password for your event list.
- For short-notice changes, also check Theatilo, because calendar apps don't sync immediately.
