Delete a comment on an event. You can always delete your own comments, other people's only with the permission to delete events. This is permanent.

What is this?
With Delete comment you remove a post from an event's discussion. The comment disappears for everyone right away.
How to delete a comment
On the web:
- Open the event. The comments are at the bottom of the Details tab.
- Open the “···” menu next to the comment and choose Delete comment.
- Confirm the prompt.
In the app:
- Open the event and tap the Comments tab.
- Tap the delete icon on the comment and confirm.
Edit instead of delete?
Comments cannot be edited. If you made a typo, delete the comment and write it again.
Permission
- Your own comments: anyone who is allowed to see the event
- Other people's comments: with the permission Delete events in one of the event's choirs, by default administrators and moderators

Can I restore deleted comments?▾
No. Deleted comments are removed permanently and disappear for everyone.
Can I delete other people's comments?▾
Only with the permission **Delete events**, which administrators and moderators have by default. Having the permission in one of the event's choirs is enough. On the web and in the app, you delete other people's comments the same way as your own.
