What is this?

The events overview shows all rehearsals, concerts and other events of your choirs. You see what is coming up and can accept or decline right from the overview.

What you find here

  • List: upcoming events grouped by month, the next one on top
  • Past (in the app): earlier events, the most recent on top, to look back without replying
  • Calendar: one month at a glance, with “Today” and arrows to page through; in the app with birthdays if you may see them
  • Respond right on the card: Attending, Maybe or Declined, without opening the event
  • “Open” label: on events you have not responded to yet
  • “Type” filter: for example only rehearsals or only concerts
  • “Only without response” filter: only events where your response is missing
  • Search: by title or location

The choir filter at the top of the header decides which choirs you see. If it is set to “All choirs”, you see the events of all your choirs.

How to open the overview

On the web, click Events in the sidebar on the left. In the app, tap Events in the bar at the bottom. If Events is not in your bar, you find it under More. In the app you filter by choir, type and “Only without response” via Filters.

Clicking an event opens the detail view.

Permission

You need View events. By default all members have it. In addition, each event type has its own permission, for example for rehearsals or concerts.

Tips

  • Subscribe to your events via “Subscribe to Calendar” (in the app “Subscribe”), then they appear automatically in your own calendar.
  • Use “Only without response” to quickly catch up on all your open responses.

Frequently asked questions

Do I also see past events?▾
On the web, you find past events in the “Calendar” view by using the arrows to go back to earlier months. In the app, switch from “Upcoming” to “Past” at the top of the event list; the most recent event is at the top.
Why don't I see an event?▾
You only see events whose type you are allowed to see. In addition, the choir leaders can restrict the visibility of an event to certain voices, functions, permission groups or chat groups. Also check the choir filter at the top: if it is set to a different choir, the events of your other choirs are missing.
Is there a calendar view?▾
Yes. On the web, you switch between “List” and “Calendar” at the top. The calendar shows one month, the events are colored by type, and events without your response have a red dot. In the app, choose “Calendar” at the top of the event list: dots in the type color mark days with events, and tapping a day shows its events below. If you may see birthdays, they appear in the calendar with a gift icon.
