Renew bank connection

What is this?

With Renew access you confirm at your bank that Theatilo may keep reading the transactions. It works just like the first connection: you are redirected to the login page and confirm with your bank’s procedure. After that, access is valid for another 180 days.

How to renew access

1. Open Ensembles, choose your choir and go to Cash book > Accounts.
2. Open the ··· menu on the card of the bank account and choose Bank connection.
3. Click Renew access. If the bank already asks for a new confirmation, click Renew connection in the Connection needs renewal notice instead.
4. Log in to your bank and confirm access.
5. Back in Theatilo, the status shows Choose account. Click Select next to the correct IBAN.
6. Done. The status is Active again, and Access valid until shows the new date.

If the connection has broken off

If the status shows Expired or Error, the page shows the notice Connection failed. Click Try again there: Theatilo deletes the old connection and starts a new login at the bank with the same start date.

Permission

You need Create & edit transactions.

Tips

• Renew as soon as the email arrives, so there is no gap in fetching.
• Several bank accounts? Each account has its own connection and must be renewed separately.
