What is this?
Every voice trainer exercise has its own settings for how its audio sounds and how it begins. You find them directly in the exercise, in the Voice trainer exercises area on the piece's detail page.
How to change the settings
- Open the piece in the library.
- Scroll to the Voice trainer exercises area.
- Change the setting in the desired exercise. The change applies immediately, the audio is regenerated in the background.
Which settings exist
- Sound — Piano, Choir (Ahh) or Choir (Ohh) (see Change timbre)
- Note announcement — the starting notes are announced before your entrance
- Count-in — a count-in plays before the start
- Bars — how many bars are counted in: 1, 2 or 4 (only with count-in switched on)
You already choose the same settings when uploading a new exercise.
Permission
To change these you need Create & edit sheet music. The volume of individual voices is set by each member themselves in the app, in the voice mixer.
Tips
- Leave count-in switched on — that helps enter cleanly.
- Don't change settings right before rehearsal — the new audio takes a few minutes.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to save the settings?▾
No. Every change applies immediately. Theatilo then regenerates the exercise's audio, which takes a few minutes.
Do my settings also apply to other members?▾
Yes. Sound, note announcement and count-in belong to the exercise and apply to everyone. The volume per voice is adjusted by each member individually in the app, in the voice mixer.
Can I change the settings for several exercises at once?▾
No, the settings apply per exercise.
