Permission required: Sheet Music – View sheet music

What is this?

Under Sheet Music lies the sheet music library of your choirs. The area has the tabs Library and Licences; the Sheet music shop button takes you to the shop.

The library shows each piece as a card with:

  • Title, composer, arranger and reference
  • Badges for licensed sheet music, voice trainer and the number of audio files
  • Tags as well as notes such as "No PDF", "Hidden" or "Shared by …"
  • the choir, if "All choirs" is selected above

How to use the library

  1. Open Sheet Music in the sidebar. In the app you find Sheet Music in the bar at the bottom (on the iPad in the sidebar).
  2. Choose the choir at the top of the header whose sheet music you want to see, or "All choirs".
  3. Search or filter via the search field, the tags and the sorting.
  4. Click a card to open the piece with PDF preview, audio and details. In the app, a tap opens the sheet music directly.

What you can do in the library

  • Download via the icon on the card (with the Download & share sheet music permission)
  • Edit and Delete via the ··· menu of the card
  • Upload sheet music at the top right
  • AI suggestion — piece suggestions for an occasion
  • Import PDFs at the top right — several PDFs at once, the AI suggests the details
  • Via ··· at the top right: Import sheet music library

Permission

To view you need View sheet music — every member has this by default. Uploading, editing and the imports need Create & edit sheet music, deleting needs Delete sheet music.

Tips

  • Assign tags from the start (such as "Current repertoire", "Summer concert", "A cappella"). That keeps the library clear even with many pieces.
  • Sort by "Newest first" to find recently added pieces.

Frequently asked questions

Who sees which sheet music?▾
Every member with the View sheet music permission sees the sheet music of the choirs they belong to. Hidden pieces are only visible to people with the View hidden sheet music permission, until the leadership releases them.
Which choirs does the library show?▾
That is set by the choir filter at the top of the header. With "All choirs" you see the sheet music of all your choirs, and each card then shows its choir's name.
Are older pieces shown too?▾
Yes, the library shows all pieces by default. Use tags to distinguish between current repertoire and older pieces, without having to delete anything.
