PDF preview in the browser
View sheet music directly in the browser, without downloading it — with edition choice and full screen. Annotations and further tools are in the app.
What is this?
The PDF preview shows you the sheet music on a piece's detail page directly in the browser — without download and without an external PDF app.
How to use the PDF preview
- Open a piece in the library.
- The PDF loads automatically in the PDF preview area.
- Scroll through the pages.
- Switch the edition via the selector above the preview, if the piece has several PDF editions. The default edition is selected first.
- Click Full screen to see the sheet music fill the screen.
Downloading
With Download at the top right of the detail page you download the PDF of the currently selected edition. You see the button with the Download & share sheet music permission.
In the app
In the app, tapping the piece opens the sheet music viewer. There you turn pages and zoom, annotate, listen to audio files and use piano, metronome and voice trainer (see PDF viewer (mobile app)).
Permission
To view the PDF you need View sheet music. Every member has this by default.
Tips
- Use the app during rehearsal — it has annotating, jump areas and offline access.
- Open the pieces once in the app before rehearsal, so you have them ready even without WiFi.
