What is this?
With Delete Album you remove an album permanently, together with all photos and videos in it. This can't be undone.
How to delete an album
- Click "Media" in the sidebar.
- On the album's card, open the ··· menu (or the ··· menu at the top of the opened album) and choose "Delete Album".
- Confirm the prompt "Delete album?" with "Delete Album".
- The album and all media are removed immediately.
Check before deleting
- Is there media in it you want to keep? → Download it first with "Download all".
- Should only part of it go? → Delete individual media instead of the whole album.
Permission
You need Delete albums & media. By default administrators and moderators have this.
Tips
- Download the most important media first — deleted is deleted.
Frequently asked questions
Can I restore a deleted album?▾
No. Deleted albums and their media are permanently removed. Back up important content first, for example with "Download all".
Can I delete just individual media instead of the whole album?▾
Yes. Open the album, click the item and choose "Delete" — the album stays intact with the rest of its content.
Can I delete an album in the app?▾
No, you delete albums on the web.
