Open media album

What is this?

When you open a media album, you see all photos and videos as a grid. You can view them one by one in large size, play videos, read descriptions and download media.

How to open an album

1. On the web, click "Media" in the sidebar. In the app, tap "Media" in the bar at the bottom or under More.
2. Click or tap the album you want.
3. At the top you see the name, description, choir, number of photos and videos and who created the album. Below that you see all media. Videos show a play icon with their length.
4. Click an item to see it in large size or to play a video.
5. Use the arrows next to the item to browse, on the web also the arrow keys, the mouse wheel or the small previews at the bottom, in the app by swiping.
6. The description is shown below the item.

What you can do in the album view

• View an item in large size or play it
• Download an item
• Download all — the whole album as a ZIP file (on the web)
• Read the description
• Upload photos — with permission or if the album allows member uploads
• Edit album, Change order and Delete album via the ··· menu at the top (with permission, on the web)
• Delete an item (with permission or for your own uploads)

Permissions

You need View media albums to open albums. All members have this by default. To edit you additionally need Create & edit albums & media, to delete Delete albums & media.

Tips

• Start a slideshow on the web with ▶ at the top or the space bar: photos change every few seconds, videos play to the end. Press F or the full screen button to fill the whole screen, for example on a projector at a choir evening.
• Use the arrow keys on the web to browse quickly through a large album.
• Download your favourite photos — straight from the large view.
