Edit album
Change the name and description of a media album and decide whether all members may upload photos — any time after creation.

What is this?
With Edit Album you adjust an existing album: album name, description and the "Members may upload media" setting.
The photos and videos themselves stay unchanged.
How to edit an album
- Click "Media" in the sidebar.
- Open the album and choose "Edit Album" from the ··· menu at the top. Alternatively, open the ··· menu directly on the album's card in the overview.
- Adjust the fields:
- Album name
- Description (up to 1000 characters)
- Members may upload media
- Click "Save".
What you don't change here
- Choir — stays fixed
- Order of media — use "Change order" in the same menu for that
- Descriptions of individual photos — edit those in the photo's enlarged view
- Moving media to another album — not possible, upload it there again
Permission
You need Create & edit albums & media. By default administrators and moderators have this. Albums can't be edited in the app.
Tips
- Keep the description up to date — it gives everyone context about the occasion.
- Turn off member uploads again after the occasion once the album is finished.
Frequently asked questions
Can I change the choir of an album?▾
No. The choir is shown for information only at the top of the window when editing and can't be changed.
How do I change the cover image?▾
The cover image is always the first photo in the album. Drag the photo you want to the front using "Change order".
Are my changes visible right away?▾
Yes. As soon as you click "Save", all members see the new details.
