What is this?
If you have forgotten your password, you reset it yourself via "Forgot your password?". You get an email with a link that lets you set a new password.
Theatilo does not know your old password and cannot tell it to you — resetting is the only way.
How to reset your password
- Click "Forgot your password?" on the sign-in page. In the app, tap "Forgot password?" — the page then opens in the browser.
- Enter the email address you are signed up with at Theatilo.
- Click "Send link".
- Open your inbox and look for the email from Theatilo with the subject "Reset password".
- Click "Reset password" in the email.
- Enter your new password (at least 8 characters) and repeat it.
- Click "Save password". Afterwards you sign in with the new password.
What happens to other devices?
All devices you were signed in on are signed out. You sign in there again with the new password.
Permission
No special permission needed — the feature is open to every registered Theatilo user.
Tips
- Choose a strong new password that you do not use anywhere else.
- Use a password manager so you do not have to remember the password.
Frequently asked questions
How long is the reset link valid?▾
The link is valid for 60 minutes and can only be used once. If it has expired, just request a new one on the page.
What happens if I do not get an email?▾
Check your spam folder first. For security reasons Theatilo does not reveal whether an address is registered — if no email arrives, the address may not be signed up with Theatilo or contains a typo. When in doubt, write to support@theatilo.com.
Am I signed in automatically after resetting?▾
No. After saving the new password you sign in with it. All devices you were signed in on are signed out.
