Link address book contacts to an event
Link sponsors, guests of honour, guest musicians or other address book contacts to an event — with role and note. Shown in the event tab "Contacts".
This feature is only available on the web.
What for?
These contacts come from the choir's address book and have no Theatilo login. They are only recorded on the event, with role and note — unlike guests who accept or decline via an invitation.
How to link a contact
- Open an event and switch to the "Contacts" tab.
- Click "Guest from contacts".
- Search the address book for the contact.
- Optionally enter a Role (e.g. "Guest of honour", "Guest musician, violin") and a Note.
- Click "Add".
Edit & remove
Via the ··· menu in the row, "Edit" changes the role or note. "Remove" only removes the link — the contact stays in the address book.
Permissions
The "Contacts" tab is visible to anyone who may view contacts. Linking and editing requires, in addition, permission to edit the event.
