Show sub-associations

With "Include sub-associations", the overview also counts the choirs of your sub-associations, such as the districts of a regional association.

Permission required: View sub-associations

What is this?

Many choir associations are organised in levels: a regional association with districts, a national association with regional associations. In the association portal you can include your sub-associations' choirs and numbers.

How to use it

  1. In the sidebar, click "Association" and stay on the "Overview" tab.
  2. Switch on "Include sub-associations".
  3. The list of member choirs now also contains the choirs of the sub-associations. Below it, the "Overview including sub-associations" appears with member choirs, active members and the age and gender distribution.

Announcements to sub-associations

When writing an association announcement — if your role allows it — there is the option "Also send to sub-associations and their choirs".

Permission

You only see the switch if your role may see sub-associations. By default, the association's administrators and editors can. By default, only administrators may send to sub-associations.

Tips

  • Use the combined overview for reports to higher-level bodies.
  • For structural changes (e.g. merging two districts), contact Theatilo support.

Frequently asked questions

How is the association hierarchy set up?▾
The Theatilo team decides which association sits under which. You can't restructure the hierarchy yourself — contact Theatilo support for that.
Can a sub-association see the data of the parent association?▾
No. Only the parent association can include the numbers of its sub-associations, not the other way round.
Can I work in the portal of a sub-association?▾
Only if you are registered as staff there too. Then you switch at the top with "Switch association".
