What is this?
If your choir is a member of a choir association, the association can send association announcements — such as invitations, concert notices, surveys or news.
How to read an association announcement
On the web
- In the sidebar, click "Messages" and then the "Association" tab at the top. Unread announcements are marked, and the number is shown on the tab.
- Click an announcement to read it and open attachments. Opening it marks it as read.
In the app
- Open "Messages" and there "Notifications".
- Tap "Association notices" at the very top, then the announcement.
How you find out
- Email — if email notifications are on and the category isn't switched off
- Push notification — if push is on and the category isn't switched off; it then also appears in the bell
"Settings" at the top of the page takes you straight to your notification settings.
Permission
No special permission needed. The announcements reach all active members of a choir that belongs to the association and has agreed to share its data — as long as the association addresses them to the members.
Tips
- Respond to sign-ups promptly — many association announcements include deadlines.
- Switch off single categories instead of everything — that way "Important notices" still reach you.
Frequently asked questions
Can I choose which association announcements I get by email or push?▾
Yes. Under Settings › Notifications › Association notifications you set email and push per association and category. You can always read the announcements.
Where do I find older association announcements?▾
On the web under Messages › Association, in the app under Messages › Notifications › Association notices. All announcements from your associations are there.
Why am I not getting any association announcements?▾
Members only get them if their choir belongs to an association managed in Theatilo and the choir has agreed to share its data. Also, the association sends some announcements only to the choirs themselves.
