This feature is only available on the web.

What is this?

The AI help chat is your fastest way to an answer, at any time of day or night. The Theatilo assistant answers based on the Theatilo knowledge base and the help pages, and links to matching guides.

The assistant doesn't know which choir you're in right now or which permissions you have. So tell it which area your question is about.

How to use the AI chat

  1. Click the question mark (Help) at the top right of the header. In a phone browser you'll find Help in the avatar menu.
  2. The "Help and support" panel opens on AI assistant, already selected in the switch at the top.
  3. Type your question in plain language, for example "How do I create a rehearsal series?".
  4. Click "Ask" or press Ctrl/⌘ + Enter.
  5. The AI usually answers within a few seconds.
  6. Ask follow-up questions if the answer doesn't quite fit; the assistant knows the conversation so far. If you close the panel, the conversation starts from scratch next time.

When a feature doesn't exist yet

If the assistant finds that Theatilo can't do something yet, the note "Theatilo can’t do this yet" appears. With "Submit as feature request", Theatilo fills in the title and description from your conversation. Check both and click "Submit request".

What the AI is good at

  • Guides: explaining step by step how something works
  • Feature overviews: what an area does and what it's for
  • Permission explanations: who may do what
  • Linking to matching help pages

When a person helps better

Switch to email or WhatsApp if:

  • You suspect a bug (the AI can't fix it)
  • You need technical help with setup
  • It's about account or billing matters
  • Your issue is urgent and individual

Permission

No permission is required; the AI chat is open to every Theatilo user.

Tips

  • Ask specific questions. The more precise, the better the answer.
  • Mention the area you're in (events, sheet music, members…). That saves rounds of clarification.
  • Ask again if something remains unclear; the AI is patient.
  • For really tricky cases, switch to email or WhatsApp. People often see connections the AI misses.
