My tasks (to-dos from events)
See all open tasks from events that are assigned to you or that you can take on yourself, such as bringing music folders or setting up equipment, at a glance.
What is this?
My tasks shows you all open to-dos from events that are assigned to you, or that you can take on yourself because self-assignment is allowed and spots are still free. These can be organizational tasks (setting up chairs, bringing music folders, transporting equipment) or musical ones (singing a particular solo, leading a sectional).
That way you don't forget anything, and the choir director can always see which preparations are already done.
What you see in the block
For each task you get:
- Task title: what needs to be done
- Event: which event the task belongs to
- Due date: for example overdue, today, tomorrow or the date
- "Assigned to me", if the task is meant for you personally
- Choir, if "All choirs" is selected at the top
At most ten open tasks from current and upcoming events are shown, sorted by due date. Tasks with "Show on dashboard from" only appear from that point on.
How to work with your tasks
- Open Home (the first item in the sidebar) and look at the "My tasks" block.
- Click a task to jump to the event's Tasks tab, where you find the description and context.
- When the task is done, mark it as done there.
- Completed tasks disappear from the block.
Permission
You need the View tasks permission; all members have it by default. You see tasks that are assigned to you, and tasks with self-assignment that still have free spots.
Tips
- Check the block regularly, especially before important events.
- Get tasks done as early as possible and tick them off right away, so the choir director can plan with confidence.
- In the app, the Home screen groups your tasks into Overdue, Today, Tomorrow and Later, each with its due date or time.
