Delete account

What is this?

With Delete account you remove your Theatilo account for good. Everything you have only entrusted to Theatilo is deleted: your profile, profile picture, personal settings, direct chats and your access.

Your membership data in the choirs stays with each choir. The choir is responsible for it and decides on its deletion.

This action cannot be undone.

How to delete your account

1. Click your profile picture in the top right and pick "Settings".
2. Pick "Delete account" on the left.
3. Theatilo shows the choirs you belong to. Tick the choirs where you want to end your access before deletion.
4. Click "Continue to confirmation".
5. Read the consequences, enter your password and type DELETE into the second field to confirm.
6. Click "Delete Account". You are signed out immediately and land on the homepage.

What happens to your data

• Profile picture, push registrations and personal settings are deleted.
• Direct chats are removed completely, for the other person too.
• Parent links are removed.
• Connected AI assistants lose access.
• Signing in is no longer possible afterward.
• Membership data stays with all your choirs — even the ones where you end your access.
• The choir leadership gets an email about the deletion.

Permission

You can only delete your own account. You need your password to do it.

Tips

• Just leaving one choir? Then you do not need to delete the whole account. Leave the choir instead (Profile › My choirs › "···" next to the choir › "Leave ensemble") — your other memberships stay intact.
• Just taking a break? Logging out is enough — your account stays unchanged.
• If you are an admin of a choir, make sure beforehand that another admin is in place there.
