This feature is only available on the web.

What is this?

The detail page of a piece in the music shop shows everything you need for the buying decision, and contains the purchase area.

What you find on the detail page

  • Title, composer, arranger, lyricist and catalogue number, if given
  • Publisher and page count
  • Voicing and difficulty
  • Preview — preview image, plus a watermarked sample when signed in
  • Audio samples — playable after signing in
  • Description and, if available, a video
  • Editions — if the title has several editions, all are included in the price
  • Voice Trainer included, if the publisher provides voice trainer exercises
  • Price and license model — price per license with minimum quantity and volume discounts, or a flat license for the whole choir
  • Performance fees for plays
  • More pieces by the same composer, publisher, voicing or difficulty

How to buy a piece

  1. For price per license, enter the number of licenses — at least the stated minimum quantity. This is skipped for a flat license.
  2. Under Select Ensemble, choose the choir you are buying for.
  3. Accept the terms and conditions and confirm the waiver of the right of withdrawal for immediate provision.
  4. Click Buy Now and complete the payment. Free pieces are obtained via Get for Free.

Permission

The detail page is visible without signing in. To buy you need a Theatilo account and a choir the music shop is enabled for, with an active subscription or a running trial.

Tips

  • Read the license model details before buying — with price per license, every member who opens the sheet music needs their own seat.
  • Listen to several pieces by the same composer to check whether their style fits the choir.

Frequently asked questions

Do I see the complete sheet music before purchase?▾
No. Without signing in you see a preview image. Signed in, View Preview opens a sample with the first three pages, marked with a watermark. You get the full PDF after purchase.
Is there always an audio sample?▾
Not for every piece. Publishers and composers decide whether to include audio samples. You can listen to them directly on the detail page after signing in.
What do the difficulty levels mean?▾
There are four levels: Easy, Medium, Hard and Very Hard. The publisher sets the classification.
