This feature is only available on the web.
What is this?
When your group performs a play bought in the shop, a performance fee may apply depending on the author's conditions. With Report performance you report the performance with its ticket revenue and pay the fee directly online. The money goes to the author of the play.
How to report a performance
- Open the piece under Sheet music and click Report performance at the top right — or open Sheet music > Licenses, click the purchase of the play and then Report performance there.
- Enter the date of the performance.
- Optional: venue and number of tickets sold.
- Enter the ticket revenue of the performance — Theatilo immediately shows you the expected performance fee.
- Click Report and pay now and complete the payment. If no fee applies, the button reads Report now and the report is confirmed immediately.
After payment you receive a confirmation and an invoice by email.
The three fee models
The author chooses one of these models per play — the conditions are shown on the piece page in the shop:
- Fixed amount up to revenue limit: Up to the set limit you pay the fixed amount, above it a percentage of the revenue.
- Minimum guarantee: You pay the higher amount — fixed amount or percentage of the revenue.
- Fixed amount plus revenue share: The fixed amount always applies, plus a percentage on revenue above the limit.
Good to know
- Any active member of the group that bought the play can report.
- If the calculated fee is below €0.50, online payment is not possible — please contact support in that case.
- Each performance is reported individually — even several shows on the same weekend.
- The fee is based on the conditions at the time of your report.
- You find all reports under Sheet music > Licenses by opening the purchase of the play.
