Remove a link
Only the parent removes the parent link, in the profile under People I manage. The child is notified. The choir leadership and the child cannot.
What is this?
Only the parent can remove a parent link. Neither the child nor the choir leadership can. This is intentional: care lies with the parent, and they decide when the child carries on alone.
How to remove a link
On the web
- Open the settings via your profile picture at the top right and choose "Parents and children".
- Find the child under "People I manage".
- In the row, choose ··· › "Remove link" and confirm.
In the app
- Tap your avatar at the top right and choose "Parent link".
- Under "People I manage", tap "Remove" next to the child and confirm.
The child gets a notification. From now on you can no longer respond for this child and no longer see what only the child sees.
What children and the choir leadership can do
- Child: cannot remove the link, not even with their own login and not after their 18th birthday. Nothing is removed automatically. Anyone who no longer wants the link asks the parent.
- Choir leadership: cannot remove the link, but can remove the parent from the choir. The link then no longer applies in that choir. In other shared choirs it stays active.
Link again
After removing, you can link again at any time, in the profile or via the choir leadership. The request works like the first time; the other side has to confirm again.
Account deletion
If one side deletes their Theatilo account, all their links are removed automatically. The other side's membership in the choir is not affected.
