What is this?
With Submit a request, you send the Theatilo team a new idea for a feature. The team briefly reviews the request, then all users see it and can vote and comment on it.
How to submit a request
On the web
- Click your profile picture at the top right and choose "Feature requests".
- Click "Submit a request" at the top.
- Enter a short title under "What would you like?". If a similar request exists, Theatilo shows it — click "View" to open it.
- Under "Description", describe what you need it for and how you handle it today.
- Click "Submit a request".
In the app
- Tap your avatar at the top right and choose "Feature Requests".
- Tap "Suggest New Feature", enter title and description and send the suggestion.
What happens afterwards
- Your request appears in your list marked "In review" and is only visible to you.
- As long as it is in review, you can edit or delete it.
- As soon as the team releases it, everyone sees it, and you get an email.
- Your vote for your own request is counted automatically.
Permission
No permission required — every signed-in Theatilo user can submit requests.
Tips
- Describe the problem, not the technical solution.
- Keep the title short — it must be understandable at a glance in the list.
Frequently asked questions
What should a good request contain?▾
A short, concrete title and a description: what do you need it for, and how do you handle it today? A use case from your choir helps most.
What if my idea already exists?▾
While you type the title, Theatilo points to a similar request. In that case, vote for it and comment instead — that has more impact than a new, similar entry.
Can I attach images or sketches?▾
No. A request consists of a title and a description.
Do I need a free vote for this?▾
No, submitting works even without a free vote. You automatically vote for your own request, and that vote counts as one of your three.
